About Verlin Labs

I am Aman Munjal, founder of Verlin Labs. I started this platform because I kept seeing the same gap - capable people who could use AI tools but struggled to understand them well enough to ask the right questions, spot limitations, or make sound decisions.

Verlin Labs exists to close that distance. We teach through mental models, live sessions, and hands-on practice - not hype, and not abstraction for its own sake.

The Gap I Could Not Ignore

For over a decade, I worked at the intersection of product and artificial intelligence. I built and scaled AI systems that powered real decisions inside large organizations - systems that needed to be reliable, explainable, and useful.

Over time, I started noticing a pattern that concerned me.

The people using these systems - engineers, product managers, and decision-makers - were often highly capable, yet many of them lacked a clear way to think about AI. They could use the tools. They could follow documentation. But when it came to developing real intuition, asking the right questions, or understanding where these systems could fail, there was a noticeable gap.

Most available learning resources fell into two extremes: either overly hype-driven or buried in academic complexity. Very few focused on building lasting mental models - the kind of clear frameworks that help people reason about AI with confidence.

This became even more personal for me after I became a father. I found myself thinking about the kind of understanding I want the next generation - and the professionals I work with - to have. Not just the ability to use AI tools, but the ability to think clearly about them.

That realization led me to start Verlin Labs.

I created Verlin Labs to offer something different: clarity-first learning. A place where complex AI ideas are broken down into simple, reusable mental models. Where learning happens through live interaction, careful explanation, and hands-on practice - not passive videos or surface-level tutorials.

Whether you are a student trying to understand technology, an engineer who wants deeper intuition, or a product leader responsible for AI-driven decisions, the goal remains the same: to walk away with frameworks that actually help you think and act better.

Verlin Labs is my attempt to close the gap I saw - between using AI and truly understanding it. It is the kind of learning experience I wish had existed earlier in my own journey, and the kind I hope more people can access now.

• College engineers - Connect theory to practice: how modern AI systems work, and how to build with them responsibly.
• Product managers & professionals - Develop the literacy to evaluate tools, frame problems, and lead teams without guessing.

Every program is live and participatory. You think out loud, ask questions, work through exercises, and leave with frameworks you can reuse. We are honest about what AI can and cannot do - and we care as much about how you think as what you build.
